Position Title: Payroll & HR Coordinator

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Compensation: $70,000-$75,000 / Annually

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join an established team in Minneapolis. This position will take ownership of day-to-day payroll responsibilities while also providing light HR support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll from start to finish.
• Review employee hours, pay rates, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related information for accuracy.
• Process payroll adjustments, corrections, garnishments, and other employee deductions.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and system data.
• Research and resolve employee payroll questions and discrepancies.
• Support payroll tax reporting and compliance activities.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Partner with Accounting and HR to ensure payroll information is accurate and properly recorded.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
• Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.
• Assist with process improvements and payroll-related projects.

Light HR Support

• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding documentation.
• Maintain employee records and HR system information.
• Support benefits, employee changes, and other basic HR administrative needs.
• Respond to routine employee questions and route more complex HR matters appropriately.

Qualifications

• Previous full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, deductions, taxes, and compliance.
• Experience with payroll or HRIS systems.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with payroll reports and data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable providing light HR administrative support in addition to core payroll responsibilities.
