Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ growth as a contracted occupational therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this dynamic environment near Williamsburg, VA, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and make a meaningful impact on learners from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week across five days, with your expertise serving students at three distinct school locations.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Virginia Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students
• Comfort working with diverse age groups and adapting therapy plans to individual needs
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to travel between multiple sites as part of the weekly schedule

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional abilities and determine needs for occupational therapy intervention
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in consultation with educational teams
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, adjusting as needed to maximize student success
• Support students in achieving their educational and functional goals within classroom and school settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, assessment results, and progress reports
• Offer guidance and resources to educators and families for strategies supporting student development
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, team consultations, and school professional development
