Responsible for providing overall strategic direction for growth, department management, and budget management. Leads the team of officers and staff that comprise fiduciary account administration, and wealth advisory planning along with new business development. Works with upper management to set goals based on area’s unique needs to best serve their customers and clients while also focusing on profitability. Works with line of business and department leaders throughout their market/region and the overall bank to accomplish established objectives, including the in- house portfolio management team members.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field required.Must have 10 or more years of progressive experience in private wealth management or trust administrationMust have previous management or relevant leadership experience with proven ability and experience in coaching, development, leading, and motivating team/organization members.Relevant industry certifications strongly desired.Demonstrated Proficiency in:Federal and state banking regulationsTrust Regulations and proceduresBank policies and proceduresBank operations, products, and servicesWorking knowledge of:Human resources management policies and practicesCompliance regulations and guidelinesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of customers, clients, and Bank personnel.Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office suite of products, and the ability to learn and utilize custom banking systems and applications.Must be self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail, high level of accountability, and the ability to work independently.Ability to maintain a high degree of ethical standards and complete confidentiality at all times.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes leadership skills to promote an environment of teamwork and partnership across all lines of business within the bank and local centers of influence to promote wealth management services to affluent individuals, families, businesses and organizations.Supports the team regarding the collaboration and integration of the separate wealth management disciplines to acquire new business, enhance client meetings, and build teamwork.Promotes accountability with direct reports by setting appropriate goals and objectives, monitoring at least quarterly, to accomplish the annual budget and strategic goals of the bank.Coaches and mentors direct reports to ensure continued development and opportunities for growth and achievement.
