Production Assistant

Production Assistant - Seasonal PTKTLA is looking for a Production Assistant to work on our Emmy Award-winning live coverage of the Rose Parade. PA with a can-do attitude will work directly with Production Coordinator and APOC for all their needs, including script book assembly, camera cards, research and clerical, and any other related tasks.ResponsibilitiesWill assist Production Coordinator and APOC in all clerical tasks and duties.Will assemble float tour books, script books and camera cards.Will work on files in OneDrive, including rundown, production schedules, scripts, camera cards, etc.Perform clerical duties to support the show.Provide telephone coverage.Will work on the live event on location in Pasadena.Position is temporary December to January.RequirementsMust have experience in live television, scripted or related fieldMust be extremely proficient in administrative tasks and on a PC - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and OneDrive are a must.Knowledge of live show rundowns and scripts a plus.Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail and handle a lot on their plate all at onceSuperb organizational and time management skillsCapable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraintsTalent for anticipating needsExcellent written and verbal communications; professional telephone etiquetteCompensation $20/hr.+ - commensurate with experience and skill levelEEO Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.KTLA will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Hiring Ordinance
