Direct Hire - Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Respiratory Clinician (RT/RN) - Home Medical Equipment in Lakeport, CA


Looking to make an impact for patients in your community? HealthCare Support is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse for a field-based Respiratory Clinician role in Lakeport, CA . This position combines patient care, education, and hands-on equipment setup to support patients in the home setting.


Daily Responsibilities:

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilators
• Provide hands-on patient education to patients, families, and caregivers on equipment use
• Conduct patient assessments and ensure proper therapy compliance
• Travel throughout Lake and Mendocino counties for patient visits (primarily local with occasional extended travel)
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with physicians, referral sources, and internal teams
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to patient needs and troubleshooting issues

Required Qualifications:

• Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to travel within assigned territory
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50+ lbs occasionally
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sleep apnea or CPAP/BiPAP experience
• Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience
• NBRC credentials (CRT/RRT)

Shift:

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation:

• $40 - $52/hr DOE
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.45-$0.50/mile
• Quarterly bonus potential (not guaranteed)
