Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating all aspects of inbound/outbound, planning, and distribution processes for shipment. This position may also be responsible for a specialized area within inbound/outbound, customer service, returns, and inventory tracking.FunctionsOversee the assigned inbound and/or outbound processes required by the customer and ensure proper workloads are provided to floor associates where applicable.Maintain/manage appropriate item inventory levels and report to proper customer and leadership membersServe as the key Customer Service Representative and acts as a central communication hub between customers, site personnel, third-party carriers/planners, and internal network drivers if customer has integration.Receive order requests, identify availability, and prepare for shipmentPerforms site level responsibilities for daily load planning, routing, and coordinating of requests (Inbound and/or Outbound) using warehouse and transportation management systemsCommunicate with customer team members regarding inventory, sales force requirements, and scheduling of deliveriesAssures that all special customer requirements are actioned; enters proper information into the workflow scheduleAssist with Logistics Coordinator II duties as requestedMay perform product functionality checks to ensure outbound items are cleaned and in proper working conditionMay attend regional deliveries to validate processes and manage customer service expectationsMay provide direction to clerks regarding internal issues as well as customer concernsMay administer all Safety Resource Officer (SRO) trainings to new clerks and leads as necessaryOther applicable duties as assigned by management, including some Warehouse Clerk responsibilitiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 years of experience in warehousing or DOT related environment requiredPerforms general administrative duties including but not limited to data entry, filing, and telephone/email correspondenceStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalismCompetenciesAction Oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Decision Quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Optimizes Work Processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.Situational Adaptability - Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.Travel RequirementsThis position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.Benefits offered:Medical insurance including HSA, HRA and FSA accountsSupplemental insurance including critical illness, hospital indemnity, accidental injuryDental InsuranceVision InsuranceBasic Life and Supplemental LifeShort Term and Long Term DisabilityPaid Parental Leave401(k)Paid Time Off approximately 2 weeks (accrual begins on Day 1 of employment)Employer Paid Holidays- 10 daysKenco strives to provide a supportive, professional environment for all employees.
