Certified Surgical Technologist - CST

Call required: 1 weekday per week 5pm to 7 am and 1 weekend day per month: 7 am to 7 am. Additional Call may be req.
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning, preparing, and maintaining surgical instrumentation and the surgical field peri-operatively. The Surgical Technologist also performs various related activities post-operatively in relation to room and instrument decontamination. This position reports to the Nurse Manager, Operating Room and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Successful completion of a program in surgical technology from an approved school required • Certification in Surgical Technology required • Current American Heart Association or client BLS certification required Should have experience with general surgery, ortho, gyn
