PT30 Relationship Specialist - North Loop Branch

Job Summary This is a part‑time, onsite position. 30 hours per week. The Relationship Specialist is responsible for building relationships with current and potential members by meeting their immediate needs, consulting on future needs, and recommending credit union products and services that meet those needs. The role includes delivering a superior member experience at branch locations and over the phone. The specialist must understand credit union processes, products, and services to communicate appropriate solutions, have a proven sales background, and be able to meet or exceed established goals in a fast‑paced environment. Teller duties and transactions may also be performed as needed. Key Responsibilities Account opening and maintenance while proactively cross‑selling credit union products and services to existing and potential members through in‑person sales, phone, and written correspondence. Resolve complex technical problems on member accounts. Processing in‑branch loan requests, uncovering lending needs through conversation with members and credit report analysis, and offering value‑adding solutions. Providing service and support to members over the phone, handling routine requests and those requiring extensive research and problem‑solving, with complete ownership of every call. Conducting teller transactions accurately and efficiently. Assisting in planning and implementation of branch sales promotion campaigns and performing other duties assigned by the Branch Manager, such as working on call lists or external activities to bring business to the branch. Complying with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Requirements 1–3 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. High school degree or equivalent. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy essential for handling sensitive, confidential information and influencing, educating, and advising customers and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse cultures. Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions, perform basic mathematics, and use computer basics. Independent worker capable of handling multiple priorities under deadlines, with limited supervision. Physical capability to bend, sit, stand, climb/descend stairs in emergencies, and lift up to 10 lbs. Ready to work extended hours or travel off‑site as required.
