OFFERING $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for a **Regional CDL Flatbed Driver **at our distribution facility located in Round Lake, NY.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- No New York City deliveries!!!
- Hourly Pay
- Home most nights and every weekend .
- Equipment is an automatic Freightliner sleeper truck pulling a 48' or 53' flatbed
- No tarping required, minimal strapping.
- Deliver trailer and trailer products to customers timely while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several areas of the state: including NH, MA, CT, or ME.
- Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
- Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road. Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Inspect trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
- Keep a log of activities.
- Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Take rest periods during trip, take special precautions while driving.
- Sign-on bonus paid to qualified driver in 3 installments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Valid Class A CDL Required.
- Flatbed experience preferred.
- 1 year experience, including manual.
- Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.
- Clean driving record - No DWI/DUI in the last 3 years.
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
