We take pride in preparing our team members for professional growth by giving them the guidance and training they need to advance in their position. The Trailer Technician is a safety sensitive role that will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment while working safely and efficiently. This may include but is not limited to doors, floors, DOT inspections, wheel end services, and electrical diagnosis.PAY: $20-$34/hourSHIFT: 6am-2:30pmESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESDiagnose and repair issues on tractor-trailers.Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.Test equipment and systems for performance.Perform repairs to brakes, electrical systems, wheel end service, wall panels, etc.Document repairs.Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees and vendors.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED certificate. Completion of a certificate program or technical training in mechanics and truck repair preferredAt least 1 year or more of professional experience as a trailer technicianBasic computer skills.Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems.Excellent interpersonal, organization, logistics, math, and communication skillsAbility to recognize trailer maintenance problemsKnowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulationsExperienced and proficient working with diagnostic computersKnowledge of working on trailersExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work well with team members in a fast-paced environmentWelding or fabrication experience preferredValid driver’s licenseThis position requires successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessmentBENEFITSLocal, Home DailyMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePTO, Paid Holidays, Volunteer Time Off, Wellness Time Off401k Retirement PlanBiweekly Pay#CCDR #J-18808-Ljbffr
