Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative U-Haul is seeking a friendly and motivated individual to serve as the face of our customer service team, ensuring customers receive assistance and support throughout their journey. Responsibilities Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with products and services. Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers. Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, checking fluid levels. Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services. Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns. Install hitches and trailer wiring. Fill propane tanks and operate forklift equipment (certification offered upon employment). Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Work Environment & Physical Demands The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required. The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs., either assisted or unassisted.
