What You’ll Do As a Mechanical Designer at Peter Basso Associates, you’ll join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets - education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You’ll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have the following experience, qualifications or education: Associate’s degree or studies toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related curriculum from an accredited institution. Requires Minimum 5 years’ experience designing commercial building systems. Passed the Fundamental of Engineering exam, PE preferred. Ability to work together with the project manager, discipline lead engineer and all team members on assigned engineering tasks assuring technical expectations, schedule and manpower budgets are met. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Knowledge of all the disciplines aspect of design for project coordination and their impact on the project. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. Team-oriented decision-making and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
