Job Role

• Design Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy plans aimed at reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques that facilitate ongoing progress at home.
• Track and Adapt Treatment Plans: Monitor progress and document outcomes, adjusting therapies as necessary to ensure patients remain on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Commitment to continuing education and pursuing additional post-graduate certifications.

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification is mandatory.
