Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a paraprofessional and behavior aide in a vibrant school setting near Seattle, WA. This contract role spans the remainder of the academic year, providing 1:1 support for an elementary-aged student in the mornings and acting as a classroom and program floater during afternoon hours. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of behavioral professionals, including the district BCBA and another experienced behavior technician, helping students achieve their goals and contributing to a positive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree, high school diploma with ETS paraprofessional exam, or an RBT/CBT credential for behavior technicians
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to implement behavior strategies and interventions
• Demonstrated flexibility to support multiple students as needs arise
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed in both academic and behavioral skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to an elementary-aged male student during morning hours
• Serve as a classroom or program floater each afternoon, assisting where most needed
• Participate in direct instructional support sessions Monday–Wednesday, 2–3pm
• Implement behavior plans in coordination with the district BCBA and co-behavior technician
• Support students across elementary and middle school age groups as assigned, ensuring their educational and behavioral needs are met

This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate between $30-$36, with a schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
