As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, you will support the daily operations of Arc Bar, Third Star, The Market, and Sixes & Eights, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance. This hands‑on leadership role requires a visible presence on the floor, where you will lead and develop colleagues, maintain service and brand standards, and foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork. Responsibilities Support the daily operation of Arc Bar, Third Star, The Market, and Sixes & Eights, ensuring exceptional service and operational consistency. Lead, coach, and develop colleagues through training, mentorship, and performance feedback. Maintain a strong floor presence, actively engaging with guests and resolving service opportunities as they arise. Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory controls, and cost‑management initiatives. Partner with culinary and hotel leadership teams to execute service standards and operational priorities. Monitor outlet performance and identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, efficiency, and revenue. Support hiring, onboarding, and colleague recognition efforts while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment. Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management required. Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred. Must have strong organizational skills. Must have refined written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be a team player and a dynamic leader. Ability to work with flexible work schedule is required. Must have open and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Salary Salary range for this position is $67,200 - $84,000.
