As an experienced Carpenter at Iconica, you'll play a key role in bringing our projects to life. From layout and framing to high-end finish work, you'll be trusted to work independently and alongside a skilled team to deliver exceptional craftsmanship on a variety of commercial projects.Key Responsibilities:Independently complete rough and finish carpentry using wood, steel, plastics, and composite materialsInstall doors, windows, frames, cabinetry, countertops, millwork, and other finish components with precision and attention to detailInstall commercial door hardware, including closers, panic devices, and locksetsFabricate and install walls, ceilings, soffits, and stairs using both wood and metal framingPerform project layout using digital transits and laser levelsCoordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to keep work on scheduleMaintain a safe, clean, and organized job siteMentor and support less experienced carpenters as opportunities ariseQualifications & Background:Five or more years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in commercial and custom constructionProven ability to work independently while consistently delivering high-quality craftsmanshipExperience with: Stick-built and prefabricated wood constructionInterior metal stud framingCommercial finish carpentry and door hardware installationFamiliarity with construction equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and power toolsAbility to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and blueprintsStrong layout and jobsite setup skillsDemonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous learningExcellent communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's license preferredIconica has been recognized as a Madison Top Workplace for five consecutive years (2022–2026) by the Wisconsin State Journal.
