Based on a construction project site, they assist by leading our carpenters and apprentices. They help encourage and drive our safety culture.Reports to: Field Leader/Field Operations LeaderPurpose: The purpose of this job is to coordinate and train carpenters to deliver a high-quality project safely.Manages and coordinates field personnel and activities including:Project layout and planningCrew and workforce managementWork sequencingMentor and train carpentersAssisting with crew's Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) formsTool and equipment onsite inventoryAttend foreman meetingsCoordinates and sequences work with other trade partners.Maintain established schedule datesPromote, enforce, and train on safety policiesConducts safety walks and reportsUnderstand budgets for self-perform workMaintain clean jobsite and ICRA standardsRepresent 3G Companies externally to trade partners, clients, and industry representativesAll other duties as assignedWhat knowledge, Skills, & Abilities you'll bring:Experience in general construction carpenter work, graduate in an apprenticeship program or equivalent experiencePreferred – Previous experience managing carpentersExtremely detail-orientedStrong leadership skillsAbility to use written and verbal communication effectivelyAbility to see the big pictureLegal RequirementsAbility to work nights and weekends as necessaryValid driver's licenseAbility to pass post-offer employment testingAbility to pass a post-offer drug testMust be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.Must be able to work in a noisy environmentAbility to understand and enforce jobsite safety rules and OSHA requirementsAbility to work within one of 3G Companies' operational areas as assigned.
