Role Description The Immigration Attorney will work full‑time on‑site in Tulsa, OK and handle a variety of immigration cases. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing immigration options, and providing clear, practical legal advice. The role involves preparing and filing immigration applications and petitions, drafting legal briefs and memoranda, and maintaining accurate, timely case files. The attorney will appear before immigration courts and agencies when required, communicate regularly with clients about case progress, and collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management. The position also includes staying current on immigration law and policy changes and contributing to firm procedures and best practices. Responsibilities Meet with clients, assess immigration options, and provide clear, practical legal advice. Prepare, file, and manage immigration applications, petitions, legal briefs, and memoranda. Maintain accurate, timely case files and use case‑management software effectively. Appear before immigration courts and agencies as required. Communicate case progress to clients and collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management. Stay current on immigration law and policy changes and contribute to firm procedures and best practices. Qualifications Knowledge of immigration law and immigration issues. Ability to address a broad range of immigration and legal issues, including family‑based, employment‑based, humanitarian, and removal matters. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably licensed in Oklahoma. Prior experience in immigration practice or related legal field strongly preferred. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality work product. Commitment to client service, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
