Senior Engineering Program ManagerGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems has a need for a Senior Engineering Program Manager located in Bloomington, MN.Duties and Tasks:Leads the planning and ensures monitoring and control for assigned development programsResponsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical performance for all engineering effortsEnsures all project deliverables are developed with high quality and delivered on timeManages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the programConducts monthly Engineering Status ReviewsManages the resolution of technical issuesEnsures that team members are recognized for their contributionsTakes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issuesAssists in Proposal and ROM developmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:8 years project management experience leading hardware and software development teams5 years technical experience; preferably with embedded systemsSignificant experience using Microsoft ProjectKnowledge of waterfall and agile methodologiesProven organizational and time management skillsProven communication skillsStrong leadership & mentoring skillsWhat Sets You Apart:PMP CertificationHigh impact leader known for getting things doneAgile/scrum master experienceEVMS experienceIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovationThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
