Advocate

Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of the Position We are seeking dedicated and dependable individuals for an hourly, part-time position to service youth and families in Providence, Kent, and Bristol County. This role requires a commitment to being a positive role model in community, school, and home settings. Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families. Develop service plans based on a strength‑based approach using the wrap‑around model. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources. Experience working with children and adolescents. Experience working with at‑risk youth. Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office 365 is a plus; experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance are required. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus. Flexible hours – non‑traditional hours; may require some evenings and weekends.
