Events and Programs Specialist Location: Wesley Glen- 5155 N. Creating an environment that is conducive for wellness and fun throughout the organization. Responsibilities Participates in planning and leads creative community events and programs of interest to residents and families Organize volunteers Prepares activity assessments and MDS for each resident according to regulatory requirements and completes participation in Caretracker Assists with arranging transportation to events, programs and field trips as necessary Implements passive exercise and wellness programs on the nursing units Requirements CNA certification preferred 2 years of experience in social or recreational programming in health care setting working with residents Dementia preferred Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with demonstrated creativity Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Life Enriching Communities is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and compliance with the applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
