Payroll Clerk | $25–28/hr | Contract to Hire | Onsite – San Diego, CA

Who You Are:

• Experience supporting payroll processes in a mid-to-large employee environment
• Familiarity with payroll systems (ADP or similar platforms preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a small team

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with processing payroll for a multi-employee workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review and validate employee timekeeping data, including non-exempt hours
• Support payroll audits and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Maintain organized payroll records and documentation
• Collaborate with internal partners to address payroll-related questions
• Contribute to process improvements and help support increased payroll volume
