Dining Assistant - Monroe - Part Time
The Dining Assistant will ensure the highest quality and standards of meals are professionally prepared, presented and served with excellent customer service. This position is part time at a state-of-the-art community providing the highest quality nursing care in a warm and compassionate home-like environment. The schedule is (3) days per week, 6:00am - 2:00pm or 11:00am -7:00pm, including every other weekend.

Minimum qualifications include a high school graduate or GED, experience as wait staff or host/hostess/captain, skill and experience with geriatric and/or dementia residents, preferred, ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language, and flu vaccine required during flu season.

About the Team: Parker at Monroe nursing care residence is known as a pioneer, thought leader, and innovator in long-term care. Parker at Monroe provides nursing and memory care services to individuals with all stages of dementias, who may also have complex physical needs. The campus consists of six "small homes"; sixteen elders with similar needs reside in each small home. The homes and programs are designed to promote independence, dignity, and a sense of community among our elders and their care partners. As an Eden Alternative registered home, Parker transforms long-term care environments into person-centered communities that offer varied and meaningful activities.
