This role is responsible for leading the development efforts in team projects. The Developer III is expected to lead by example. Serve as a subject matter expert in key business projects.Conduct code reviews.Direct/mentor some level I and II developers. Write Clear and Detailed Technical Specifications and Documentation.Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.QualificationsEducation & Requirements Seven (7) years of experience developing multi-tiered applicationsSeven (7) years with SQL Server developmentFive (5) years of experience with software architecture and design conceptsExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExperience transforming requirements into Design Concepts and ERDsExperience in web service development across multiple protocols (SOAP, REST, WSDL, JSON, MSMQ)Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution requiredMaster's degree from an accredited institution preferredKey QualificationsStrong comprehensive understanding and knowledge in the following areas:Database structures, theories, principles, and practicesProfessional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsSoftware development languages: C# & JavaWeb UI development (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML)SSIS and SSRS developmentApplicable data privacy practices and lawsHealthcare systems and healthcare databases is preferredHighly skilled in developing and optimizing T-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) queries with MS SQL Server 2016Strong troubleshooting skillsGood written and oral communication skillsStrong technical documentation skillsGood interpersonal skillsProven analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to:Handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environmentBe highly self-motivated and self-directedShow keen attention to detailEffectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentStart your journey towards a thriving future with IEHP and apply TODAY!Work Model LocationThis position is on a hybrid work schedule.
