Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required—must have license in hand
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience or a strong interest in working with pediatric populations in educational settings
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies in coordination with school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool and early elementary students
• Develop and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress, keeping thorough documentation
• Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to create collaborative, inclusive learning environments
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
