Little Blue Valley Sewer District , a public agency created in 1968, operates two wastewater treatment facilities in Jackson and Cass counties in western Missouri with offices located in Independence. Key Responsibilities Conduct laboratory testing and environmental sampling to support wastewater treatment operations and regulatory compliance. Maintain analytical equipment, perform quality control activities, and ensure adherence to laboratory SOPs and safety requirements. Manage laboratory data, documentation, and reporting to maintain accurate, defensible records. Support industrial pretreatment, environmental monitoring, and continuous process improvement efforts.
