We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. Test Equipment products are located in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. Test Equipment has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and sustainment.Test Equipment is looking for Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems for all Raytheon products.What You Will DoResearch, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environmentsIntegrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirementsEvaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctionsQualifications You Must Have:Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Education and/or Experience with project work in one or more of the following: mechanical/electronic sub-systems packaging, material selection, thermal analysis, structural analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large assembly developmentQualifications We Prefer:Completion of 1 internship in a related field Experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO ParametricExperience with creating design drawing packagesExperience in Model Based Engineering or Model Based DesignWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
