Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assess, plan, and progress patient care in LTAC/SNF settings.
- Implement and progress therapeutic exercise programs, including range of motion, strength, balance, gait, and mobility training.
- Assist with activities of daily living as directed within the rehab plan, ensuring patient safety and functional independence.
- Monitor patient response to therapy, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team.
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas, manage equipment, and comply with infection control and safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, device use, and strategies to support rehabilitation goals.

Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing (or eligibility) for practice in the United States; licensure requirements follow state guidelines.
- Ability to work on-site in a LTAC/SNF setting as part of a travel assignment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with a multi-disciplinary care team.
- Commitment to patient safety, documentation accuracy, and adherence to facility policies.
- Willingness to work a 5x8 day shift and to fulfill the assignment duration as scheduled.
