Key facts Location: Charleston, South Carolina (hybrid or remote) Engagement: Full-time What you’ll do Oversee and manage the daily operational workflows to facilitate the company's growth trajectory and ensure seamless execution of business processes. Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and implement high-level strategic initiatives that align with the company's vision and goals. Supervise and refine internal processes to maintain organizational health, ensuring that productivity and efficiency are consistently optimized. Lead cross-departmental projects aimed at enhancing operational performance, fostering collaboration among teams to achieve common objectives. Analyze operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. Develop and manage budgets for operational departments, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of operational initiatives and make data-driven decisions. Mentor and develop team members within the operations department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges that may arise. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, leveraging insights to inform operational strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Prepare and present operational reports to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives. Cultivate relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance operational capabilities and drive collaborative opportunities. Requirements Demonstrated experience in a senior operations leadership role, with a track record of success in managing complex organizational structures. Ability to work from the Charleston office in a hybrid model or remotely, depending on candidate preference. Strong expertise in organizational management, with a focus on process optimization and operational excellence. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions that impact the organization positively. Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and developing teams to achieve high performance. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across various levels of the organization. Nice to have Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, particularly within the technology or services sectors. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, enhancing the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives effectively. A background in financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation, to support operational decision-making. Skills & tools Proficiency in operational management software and tools, with a strong understanding of data analytics platforms. Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar applications to streamline workflows and enhance team collaboration. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
