Physical Therapist

Job Overview Physical Therapist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PerDiem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care services in all assigned areas including evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning based on the functional needs of patients. Develops and implements program plans, evaluates response to care, and readjusts treatment plans as required. Provides patient, family, and peer education and coordinates services with other health care professionals, including interaction with physicians responsible for the patient’s care. Follows individualized performance development plans and supports program components while promoting hospital goals and objectives. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: California Physical Therapist License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. 1 year of experience as a practicing therapist. Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: APTA Member.
