Pueblo track offers minimal call requirements, supported by established nocturnists, and includes occasional home call with a 45-minute callback time, allowing physicians to live in southern Colorado Springs if preferred for a better work-life balance.

Manage cases across multiple settings including Level 1, 2, and 3 trauma centers, as well as outpatient surgical centers, to keep your skills sharp and well-rounded.

Enjoy a mix of both supervision and independent anesthesia care, allowing you to sit your own cases while also supervising other team members, offering a balance of autonomy and leadership.

Experience a broad spectrum of cases, including high acuity trauma, obstetrics, major spine surgeries, general surgery, vascular procedures, thoracic surgeries, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, and GI, giving you exposure to a wide range of specialties.

Focus on regional anesthesia and blocks, emphasizing techniques that optimize patient outcomes, enhance recovery, and reduce complications, making a significant impact on patient care.

Receive robust mentorship from experienced anesthesiologists, helping you thrive in your role and grow professionally within a supportive environment.

Leadership and teaching opportunities available, though not required, offering the potential for those who want to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the development of future anesthesiologists.

Submission Requirements

Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Anesthesiology - REQUIRED

Clean malpractice - PREFERRED
