Senior Accountant

I'm partnering with one of South Texas' most respected technology organizations as they continue to grow their finance team. This isn't a typical Senior Accountant position. They're looking for someone who wants to become a future Controller . You'll join an experienced leadership team, receive direct mentorship from the CFO, and gradually take ownership of more complex accounting responsibilities as you develop. You’ll play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, and process improvement, while serving as the bridge between the accounting clerks and senior finance leadership. What you’ll be doing: Help manage month-end close and general ledger activities Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Support payroll and eventually become the primary payroll owner Partner with AP and AR while providing backup support when needed Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage NetSuite more effectively Present financial information and collaborate with business leaders across the organization What they’re looking for: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Strong general ledger, reconciliations and month-end close experience NetSuite experience strongly preferred (other enterprise ERP systems considered) CPA, CMA or actively pursuing certification is a plus Someone looking to grow into a leadership position over time This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning organization that genuinely invests in its people, offers outstanding mentorship, and provides a clear path toward a Controller position. #J-18808-Ljbffr Franklin Fitch
