SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Job Title
Monthly / Quarterly Closing of the Books
- Review books and close properties in Yardi
- Review monthly bank reconciliations and outstanding items
- Review other reconciliations – tenant billbacks, loan schedules, supporting schedules
Journal Entries
- Review and post journal entries initiated by other team members
- Manage recurring journal entries – for example, monthly tax and insurance reserves
Annual Budgets – Prepare annual budgets per property and revise tenant charges by December each year (for January billings)
Forms 1099 – Prepare and file vendor 1099s through Yardi software
CAM (Common Area Maintenance) Reconciliations – Review CAM recs, post, and send to tenants. Assist with tenant questions and audits.
