Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. As an Area Manager, you'll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations. This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams.

We are hiring an Area Manager to oversee our locally owned Great Clips salons. This leadership role is responsible for driving performance, developing salon managers, supporting team culture, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is organized, results-driven, and passionate about coaching others to grow. You will work closely with salon managers to improve sales, control labor, maintain brand standards, and create an outstanding customer experience.

To succeed as an Area Manager in a Great Clips salon organization, you'll need: Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province) The desire and ability to manage a salon's daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
