Assistant General ManagerThe Assistant General Manager at VP Management will work alongside the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and overall success of our Pikeville, KY location. This individual contributor role is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive pay rate of $12 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly.In addition to a competitive hourly rate, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a health benefit package, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.ResponsibilitiesAssist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the Pikeville location, including but not limited to: sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee supervision.Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed and enforced by all employees.Utilize excellent leadership skills to motivate and coach team members, driving them to meet and surpass sales goals.Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing and resolving any issues or complaints efficiently and effectively.Oversee inventory levels and ordering to ensure that the store is adequately stocked at all times.Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue and profitability.Uphold and promote a positive and inclusive work culture at all times.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management role. Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee supervision. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
