This hospital is part of a well-established healthcare network providing comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility features a Level III nursery with onsite lab and ultrasound capabilities, ensuring excellent patient care and access to advanced medical technology.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Details:
• Provide laborist coverage at Labor & Delivery unit to supplement current staffing needs
• Work alongside 1 full-time laborist physician and 1 full-time laborist midwife
• Schedule: 7a-7p physician shifts with call coverage for midwife from 7p-7a
• Handle low and high risk pregnancies including those with diabetes, toxemia, and other complications
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and cesarean sections
• Manage complex deliveries including breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Provide decision-making for c-sections and perform VBAC procedures
• Handle repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Perform gynecology procedures including laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures and open surgical gynecology
• Provide emergency gynecology coverage for unassigned cases
• Work with Epic EMR documentation system
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required
• Ohio medical license required (willing to accept those who will obtain license)
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 days
• Facility reimburses flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
