Technical Customer Service Representative -Medallion Labs

Located in Golden Valley, MN, our team is known for providing exceptional analytical, chemistry, microbiology, sensory, and shelf-life testing services to the food industry. Job Overview
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer expectations and providing technical responses to inquiries. You will serve as a liaison between customers and various internal teams, ensuring that the needs of our key large customers are met. Additionally, you will support digital, marketing, and continuous improvement projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or email within 24 business hours
- Handle customer complaints and facilitate resolutions
- Troubleshoot portal and order-related questions
- Generate quotes for testing and Mock Nutrition Facts Panels
- Submit requests for reruns and additional testing through LIMS
- Build and update customer records in LIMS
- Monitor the Customer Service Dashboard in LIMS
- Log customer communication in Salesforce
- Communicate weekly updates on submission trends and metrics
- Manage all client communications to ensure satisfaction
- Own large and specialty projects for the account
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, or account management
- Bachelor's degree (science-related field preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferences
- Experience in a lab/science environment
- Exposure to Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
