Pediatric Hospitalist Physician – Locum Tenens
Paris, Texas | 24-Hour Weekend Call
Estimated Start: 12/01/26
Duration: Ongoing through approximately July 2027
HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for ongoing locum tenens weekend coverage in Paris, Texas.
This is a call-only opportunity requiring approximately one weekend per month. Coverage consists of 24-hour 7:00 AM–7:00 AM call shifts with relatively manageable reported pediatric and newborn volumes.

- $2,500 per 24-hour call
- Approximately 1 weekend/month
- Ongoing through July 2027
- 24-hour 7a–7a call
- Approximately 4–8 patients/shift
- Approximately 2–3 phone consults
- Approximately 1–2 patients seen
- Approximately 1–2 admissions
- 30-minute response requirement
- Inpatient only
- Newborn + pediatric coverage
- C-section/high-risk delivery attendance
- MediTech
- Texas license or IMLC
- Approximately 30-day credentialing
- Travel reimbursement available
- Board-Certified physician
- Pediatric Hospitalist experience
- Texas license or IMLC
- BLS
- PALS
- Inpatient pediatric and newborn experience
- Comfortable attending C-sections/high-risk deliveries
- Required pediatric procedural skills
- Ability to meet a 30-minute call response requirement
