Security Guard II - Baldwin Park

Come join our family at In-N-Out Burger! We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time armed Security Guard in our Baldwin Park, CA facility. The Security Guard will help maintain the safety and security of the In-N-Out Burger facility in Baldwin Park. General Responsibilities Maintain the safety and security of the Baldwin Park facility and grounds Understand all aspects of guard monitoring, such as operating the lobby, foot patrols, monitoring the cameras, understanding the alarm system and emergency procedures Serve as a receptionist/greeter in the lobby for all visitors coming to the facility Screen and log in all visitors entering and exiting the complex Conduct routine surveillance; perform security patrols, protocol and contingency operations Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency After business hours - checks doors, windows, to ensure the property is secure Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property Provide excellent customer service; maintain friendliness and professionalism at all times Possess good judgment to handle day to day operations Perform all duties with pride; work well in an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation Work Schedule Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt) Must be flexible to work all shifts including day, swing, and overnight Weekend and holiday availability required Excellent Benefits, to include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA’s, 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan, Adoption Assistance, Education Reimbursement, Supplemental Health Plans and Pet Insurance Pay Range is $27.16-$31.25 per hour The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Qualifications Valid Guard Card; required CA State Firearm permit (Exposed firearm permit); required Security guard experience; preferred Prior military or law enforcement experience and/or current or past experience as an Security guard; preferred Exhibit excellent customer service and hospitality skills - the Security Guard greets everyone who enters the lobby, and will be responsible for welcoming our guests and visitors with the kindness and friendliness befitting of In-N-Out Burger Possess strong communication skills Must be reliable and able to work without constant direct supervision High school diploma or GED; required Physical Requirements Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time About In-N-Out Burger In-N-Out Burger was founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California, and remains privately owned and operated.
