Senior Sterile Processing Technician Location: Providence Portland Medical Center, 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR Schedule: Per-diem, Day Shift (On-Call) Responsibilities The Tech‑Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases and other procedures requiring sterile supplies and instrumentation. Qualifications Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or equivalent Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or equivalent Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association 3 years recent sterile processing experience Experience using a personal computer and basic software applications.
