System Administrator

Position Objective: Provide services as a System Administrator III in support of the overall functions of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Duties and Responsibilities: Support enterprise cloud and SaaS operations by onboarding and administering SaaS platforms, managing identity and access controls, and performing routine system troubleshooting. Apply foundational knowledge of AWS services and cloud administration to maintain secure, reliable system environments. Support authentication and authorization integrations, including SAML and OIDC, to ensure seamless user access across applications. Troubleshoot web based applications, monitor system performance, and assist in maintaining system documentation, security compliance, and operational continuity. Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues and enhance system reliability. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: HS diploma or GED 6 or more years of system administration experience required 2-4 years of experience with onboarding SaaS systems 2-4 years of experience with Identity and Access Management 2-4 years of experience with SAML tracer, SAML decoder, SAML or OIDC tokens, and SSO certificates 2-4 years of experience with AWS cloud management and administration 2-4 years of experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, SNS, Route 53, Backup, etc.) 2+ years of experience troubleshooting web based application issues Knowledge of network fundamentals, including DNS, subnetting, firewalls, IP addressing, or CIDR Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance or other applicable security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SaaS products supporting:

• Document Management
• Electronic Common Technical Document (eCTD) Management Systems
• Quality Management Systems
• Clinical Data Systems
• Trial Master File Systems
• Electronic Lab Notebooks
• Specimen Management Systems
