Bring your expertise as a School Registered Nurse to support student wellness and success across two vibrant campuses in the Chicago area. In this engaging, on-site contract role, you will be the face of health resources for approximately 1,000 students, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that enables every child to thrive. If you have recent, hands-on school nursing experience and are comfortable commuting between two locations, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in Illinois required
• Recent experience working as an RN in a school setting (essential)
• Strong assessment, triage, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, and school staff
• Reliable transportation and willingness to serve both campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, thorough nursing care to students across two campuses (serving approx. 500 students at each site)
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and manage health plans for students with chronic and acute needs
• Provide health education, promote health and safety initiatives, and respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate student health records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Support campus wellness programs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
