This part-time, contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on a child’s day, providing attentive 1:1 care. The schedule includes bus ride supervision as well as an afternoon split shift, allowing for a unique and varied workday. Your commitment and clinical expertise will ensure student safety and well-being throughout their school journey, including transportation to and from campus.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license (required)
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to provide individualized, compassionate nursing care
• Willingness and capability to supervise students during bus transportation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care for a student requiring assistance during bus rides and school hours
• Monitor student’s health status, administer medications, and address any medical needs as required
• Complete accurate documentation of services provided and any health concerns observed
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Ensure the safe transport and supervision of the student during all assigned bus rides
