As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support visitors and employees with exceptional service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM Tue 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM Wed 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM Thu 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM Fri 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
