This role involves providing specialized patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, focusing on cardiac, neurological, and post-operative recovery patients. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services while adhering to unit policies and protocols. Job Details Position: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, experience in telemetry, neurology, or cardiac care, and current certification in required specialties Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drips, basic dysthymia procedures, and stroke care Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Additional Information: The unit has 16 beds with patient ratios of 4:1, utilizes advanced telemetry equipment, and maintains a high level of staff engagement. Candidates must possess excellent clinical skills and flexibility to float within the hospital as per policy.
