This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity environment, including cardiac telemetry, neuro stepdown, and other medical-surgical units. The role emphasizes patient monitoring, emergency response, and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Education Requirements: Must meet state licensure requirements for registered nurses Location Requirements: Must have a valid nursing license in the applicable state or jurisdiction Years of Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical experience required; previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Additional Information: Responsibilities include interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac drips, IV therapy, medication administration, and patient monitoring on telemetry. Float: Float rotation may be required. The role requires working with adult and geriatric patient populations, managing complex medical plans, and adhering to strict clinical protocols. Candidates should be prepared for orientation, EMR system training, and compliance protocols prior to start date.
