Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Proven experience with elementary-aged students
• Demonstrated background working with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Ability to manage and differentiate instruction for a range of disabilities
• Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to supporting a diverse classroom population

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction in a self-contained classroom setting for students with varying abilities
• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) specific to each student's needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth
• Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure a holistic educational experience
• Maintain ongoing communication with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies
• Uphold all regulatory and ethical standards relating to special education services
