Workers' Compensation Plant Representative

We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Plant Representative to support a major automotive manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for managing workers' compensation claims, handling lost-time cases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving cost‑effective claim resolutions while providing excellent customer service. Details Location: Louisville, KY Shift Time: Day Shift (Fully Onsite) Pay Rate: Up to $28.87/hour with benefits Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation claims, including complex and lost‑time claims. Investigate claims and determine exposure through fact gathering and claim analysis. Develop and execute action plans to ensure timely and cost‑effective claim resolution. Establish, maintain, and adjust claim reserves throughout the claim lifecycle. Calculate and process benefit payments, settlements, and claim adjustments. Prepare and submit required state filings within statutory deadlines. Coordinate investigations, vendor referrals, and litigation management activities. Implement cost‑containment strategies to reduce overall claim expenses. Manage subrogation, Second Injury Fund recoveries, Social Security, and Medicare offsets. Maintain accurate claim documentation and communicate claim activity with all stakeholders. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of Workers' Compensation claims management experience. Experience handling Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims. Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claim administration. Experience managing claim reserves, settlements, and benefit calculations. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload independently. Kentucky Workers' Compensation claims experience required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
