Travel Physical Therapist - $2,360 per week

Travel Physical Therapist – Fort Morgan, Colorado Fusion Medical Staffing is looking for a skilled Physical Therapist for a 9‑week travel assignment, beginning ASAP. The role requires 40 hours per week at 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques (exercise, manual therapy, modalities) to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment safely. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols. Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform any additional duties within the scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in Colorado or the required state. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills. Excellent communication and critical‑thinking abilities. Proficient in English language reading, writing, and speaking. PC skills. Physical ability to stand, move equipment, bend, and modulate force. Professional demeanor and eligibility to work under supervision or independently as required. Valid visual acuity and other sensory requirements as per state regulations. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Hospital/clinical experience (new graduates welcomed). Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position.
