Travel And Local Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Contract

Travel and local Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) contract in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. 13-week assignment with compensation up to $1,800 per week. Supports patients in a close-knit community while providing flexible travel work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
2. Support patients in developing or regaining daily living and work skills
3. Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
4. Provide hands-on care under the direction of the supervising OT
5. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs
6. Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Active South Dakota COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting
